BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — A home in Beaver County was destroyed by an early Sunday morning fire.

The fire occurred at the home in the 3500 block of Fourth Avenue, Beaver Falls, around 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

Officials said the home was occupied and all the residents were able to get out, but one of the occupants had to run through the fire to save his own life and his dog. No injuries were reported.

Beaver Falls Fire Chief Mark Stowe said the two-apartment home had no working smoke alarms inside.

“Smoke alarms save lives,” he said.
