There has been a lot of analysis when it comes to the moves that the Los Angeles Lakers have made this NBA offseason. The roster has been overhauled and a lot of the reaction has been negative.

The Lakers are going to be one of the oldest teams in NBA history. They have eight players of at least 32-years of age or older. The addition of Russell Westbrook is one that got people buzzing as well.

Los Angeles acquired Westbrook in a trade on draft night from the Washington Wizards. There are a lot of people that don’t believe Frank Vogel will be able to work things out with him joining LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Sure, there are some legitimate concerns with how the Lakers built their roster. Westbrook is another player that thrives with the ball in his hands but will have to adjust his style of play for the Lakers to find success. They are older, which makes them more susceptible to injuries.

People are finding any reason to knock the Lakers down, but you know they will use that as motivation. One NBA scout believes the team will prove people wrong rather quickly. When talking to NBA Analysis Network’s Evan Massey, this scout believes people will be eating their words just a few weeks into the season.

“Let the haters hate. Everyone will be back-tracking on their words 10 games into the season. This team is going to be GOOD.”

If the Lakers can stay healthy, it is hard to imagine this team not being among the best in the NBA. As long as you have LeBron James on your team, you have a shot to win every night.
