Wrapping up another exciting weekend of Premier League will be capped off with two of the best teams in the early stages of the 2021-22 season, as Liverpool gets set to host Manchester City.
Liverpool is the lone team remaining in the Premier League who have yet to lose a match this season. They come into Sunday with a 4-0-2 record, sitting atop of the tables with 14 points. They are looking to bounce back after a wild 3-3 draw with Brentford. Mohamed Salah scored one of those goals last Saturday, and leads the club with five goals in the first six games, leading the team with seven points.

The defending Premier League champion Manchester City has also had a great start to their title-defending campaign. They are 4-1-1 through their first six matches, and coming off a big 1-0 win over Chelsea last weekend. Since losing their opening match to Tottenham, their lone blemish is a draw to Southampton. Yet, they have not given up a goal since that loss, and have outscored their opponents 12-1. They have done so with 10 different goal scorers, with Gabriel Jesus and Ferran Torres the only two with a pair of tallies this season.
A part of their championship season, ManCity was the only victorious squad in the two’s season series, as they won one of the matches, while a draw resulted in the first match.
