Veep and Marvel star Julie Louis-Dreyfus has joined the cast of Eddie Murphy's new Netflix movie, it has been reported.
As stated in The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has been cast in the current untitled comedy project as the mother of Jonah Hill, who was previously announced.
The movie, directed by Kenya Barris, will focus on "modern love" and how a family is divided by generational differences, societal expectations and a clash of cultures.
Hill co-wrote the script with Black-ish creator and first-time film director Barris, and will serve as one of the producers. Beyond that, we really don't know much about this one at the moment.

Fresh off her role on political comedy Veep, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is making waves in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, popping up in both The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Black Widow this year, recruiting characters to her cause like a less scrupulous Nick Fury.
And it looks like the 11 times Emmy winner will play an important part in the franchise going forward, with Marvel Studios producer Nate Moore stating: "Whenever we talked about Valentina, even in the writer's room, she was sort of a more acerbic, funnier, but darker Nick Fury.
"Someone who knows her secrets, who's not afraid to operate in the moral grey area, but maybe who isn't as inherently altruistic. Having a character like Valentina in the show, and actually in the MCU, is really interesting because I think she'll be making more waves sooner rather than later."
