A midweek 1-0 victory over Inter Miami was enough to bring the Five Stripes back up the table following last weekend’s painful showing in Philadelphia. Now, Atlanta United hits the road once more, travelling north of the border to take on CF Montreal in an attempt to establish themselves in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
The two sides meet for the third time this season tonight, the most recent of which ended in a hectic 2-2 draw in Montreal back on August 4th. We’ll see if Gonzalo Pineda’s squad can avoid the away day slump that was experienced against the Union and continue to climb their way up the table.
