Nunez hit a solo home run as a pinch hitter in Friday's 9-7 win over the Diamondbacks.
Elias Diaz started the game behind the plate and knocked in a run of his own, but Nunez was able to make an impact with his solo shot leading off the ninth that tied the game 7-7. The homer was his first since Aug. 18. Between the two long balls, he knocked in only one run and batted .211 across 38 at-bats.
