New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays announce Saturday afternoon lineups

The New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays play the middle game of their three-game series on Saturday afternoon.

First pitch is 1:05 p.m. at Yankee Stadium. The game will be broadcast on the YES Network in New York and on the MLB Network nationally.

Friday's game:Yankees' late rally falls short against Rays

Shane Baz (2-0, 1.69) will start for Tampa Bay, while Jordan Montgomery (6-6, 3.49) will go for New York.

With DJ LeMahieu (sports hernia) sidelined, the Yankees recalled Andrew Velazquez from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before Saturday's game and he is starting at shortstop.

Tampa Bay has clinched the American League East, while New York is battling for one of two wild-card spots. Here is a look at the AL wild-card standings:
