Kelly Dodd isn’t mincing words when it comes to Erika Jayne.

“I think she is an absolute liar,” Dodd told Us Weekly on Thursday. “Because you see it on the show, they catch her in so many lies. Well, she’s not a truthful, upfront person.”

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” alum also added that she had been privy to the gossip about Jayne’s personal and legal woes.

Dodd, 46, shared that she had “a lot of friends in Los Angeles” sharing rumors about Jayne, but the “Rick & Kelly UNMASKED” podcast host confessed that at first, she thought the rumors were “fake.”

“I hear things like that, but you don’t really believe them because people talk or they’re jealous,” she continued saying. “I took it in one ear and out the other.”

Dodd theorized that people spread the rumors because they were “jealous” of Jayne’s life.

“You hear all these things about how they’re fake and how she’s fake and using him for all this money,” she said. “People are jealous. So that’s what I took it as. Like, people are jealous of Erika Jayne. I didn’t think anything of it.”

But Dodd has since changed her mind after watching the current “RHOBH” season.

“She should have done things that were proactive that were like, ‘I feel remorse. I feel bad for these people. I shouldn’t have spent the money that I spent and I’m going to give back and here is how I’m going to do it,'” Dodd stated. “That’s what she should’ve done.”

Jayne, 50, was recently sued over allegations that money siphoned from her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s former law firm Girardi Keese was underwriting her lifestyle and music career. She was also accused of using the couple’s November 2020 divorce filing to hide funds earmarked for victims of the Lion Air Flight 610 plane crash.

Throughout the season, Jayne has maintained that she had no knowledge of her estranged husband’s alleged misdeeds.

But since Girardi’s legal issues have come to the surface, many other “Housewives” have come forward saying that they were aware of them as well.

“The Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel claimed she learned in May 2018 that Girardi’s financial issues were the “worst-kept secret” in Los Angeles lawyers’ circles, adding, “It was a thing.”

Frankel said that she notified Andy Cohen, Lisa Rinna, and Kyle Richards about Girardi and Jayne’s finances shortly after her discovery.

Jayne has yet to comment on Dodd’s remarks.
