Gurriel has battled a hand issue throughout the past week. While he returned to start a pair of games Tuesday and Wednesday as the designated hitter, he went 0-for-4 in both and now finds himself stuck on the bench for the second straight contest. He won't be available off the bench, per Mitch Bannon of SI.com. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will rest his legs as the designated hitter in his absence, with Cavan Biggio starting at first base.
