First place hosts second in the Premier League this weekend as the past two champions meet at Anfield ahead of the campaign's second international break.
That's one of several important fixtures on the schedule for Matchday 7, which also includes a huge meeting between the bottom two clubs.

Burnley vs. Norwich City

I've been pumping Daniel Farke and Norwich's tires a decent amount over the past two months and have looked foolish. The Canaries are not only without a point through six matches, but they haven't held a lead and rarely seem threatening. Todd Cantwell's return will help, but where is Norwich supposed to be drawing their confidence from ahead of a massive six-pointer at the bottom of the table?
Meanwhile, Burnley are still searching for their first win, but the Clarets have been the much more competitive side through the opening six matchdays. They were denied a victory at the King Power Stadium late, and have come close on a couple of other occasions too.
Maxwel Cornet's injury is a blow, but Sean Dyche's squad is far more cohesive and organized. Burnley will be much tougher to break down, and they boast a reliable scorer up top in Chris Wood, who netted a double in this fixture in 2019.
There's talent among Norwich's XI, but Farke needs to figure things out in a hurry. The visitors will be outclassed at Turf Moor.

Crystal Palace vs. Leicester City
Oct. 3, 9 a.m. ET
This is a massive fixture for a Leicester side mired in a slump and firmly entrenched in the bottom half.
A wasteful loss in Poland on Thursday followed a disappointing draw against Burnley, though the Foxes were the far better team in both. They beat the Clarets 2.16-0.43 on expected goals during the 2-2 draw. This will be their sixth match over 18 days, but Brenden Rodgers has done well to rotate the squad, with the majority of Sunday's expected lineup left out of the XI against Legia.
The good news? Jamie Vardy is heating up, with three goals over his last two league matches, and the Foxes will get a much-needed rest over the upcoming international break. The quick turnaround will help in this case, too, allowing their memory to be short as Leicester aims to end their recent run of poor play.
Four of Leicester's six matches have come against top-seven sides, but it gets a bit easier now with a trip to Selhurst Park. Brighton denied Palace a victory very late on Monday night, and it'll be interesting to see the response Patrick Vieira invokes from his group.
But with the break looming, an experienced and professional Leicester club will stop punching below its weight on Sunday.

Liverpool vs. Manchester City

The final match of the weekend is also the best, as the Premier League's top two sides meet at Anfield.
Manchester City were outstanding during a win over Chelsea last weekend, but a poor midweek display resulted in a 2-0 defeat to PSG. The Citizens have now failed to score twice over four matches, but I expect them to find the back of the net against a Liverpool side that's looked vulnerable at times in recent weeks.
Still, the atmosphere at Anfield will be quite hostile, and it's asking an awful lot of City to leave Merseyside with three points after traveling to Stamford Bridge and Parc des Princes over the past eight days.
No manager has experienced more success against Pep Guardiola than Jurgen Klopp, and considering the Reds' current form - unbeaten on the season while scoring three-plus goals in six straight fixtures - it's even harder to see City walking away with a second successive away win over a title rival.
