Name: Jack Dempsey

Position: Forward

Year: Freshman

Number: #9

Height: 6’4”

Hometown: Natick, MA

Previous Stats: Registered seven goals and eight assists in 28 games in 2020-21 with the Junior Bruins. Played two seasons at Dexter Southfield School and was an assistant captain during the 2019-20 season. He posted 51 points in 30 games during his final year at Dexter.

Season Outlook: There’s a lot of opportunity for young players this year at the forward position after the departure of the entire top line and a few others. As a freshman, you may not expect Dempsey to get a huge amount of playing time, but the opportunity for him is certainly there in the back half of the rotation to make an impact. Especially at a big bruising 6’4”, BC could really use the physicality they’ve lacked in recent years after their top players have often been much more agile rather than strong.

Fun Fact: Jack Dempsey shares a hometown with Boston College sports legend Doug Flutie. They both hail from Natick, MA.
