Tony Kornheiser weighs on on what it would take to end Lane Kiffin-Mike Wilbon beef
This week, Mike Wilbon went on an epic rant against Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin during a segment on ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption.”
Wilbon called Kiffin a “clown” and an “embarrassment,” which are strong words to say about someone you’ve never met.
On Thursday’s episode of “The Paul Finebaum Show,” Wilbon’s PTI cohost, Tony Kornheiser, said he thinks this story will have a happy ending:

“What was that about? I mean, I’m looking at that, too, and I’m thinking, ‘Wow, you hate Lane Kiffin that much? Where does this come from?'” Kornheiser said. “Here’s what he’s gonna do — I guarantee you this. I guarantee you Mike will meet Lane Kiffin somewhere and come back and say, ‘Guy’s great. I love that guy.'”
Kiffin and Ole Miss AD Keith Carter have extended invitations to Wilbon to come to a game and actually meet Kiffin. We’ll see if that’s what causes Kornheiser’s prediction to come true.
