Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder A.J. Pollock is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Vince Velasquez and the San Diego Padres.
Pollock is taking a seat after starting the last three games. Chris Taylor is shifting to left field while Justin Turner returns to the lineup to play third base and bat sixth.
Taylor has a $3,100 salary on Thursday and numberFire's models project him for 10.8 FanDuel points. Turner has a $3,200 salary and is projected for 11.2 FanDuel points. Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Dodgers have the second-highest implied total in the majors on Thursday. Velasquez is registering an xwOBA that ranks in the bottom 17% of the league this season.
