Texas Rangers infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Alex Cobb and the Los Angeles Angels.
The Rangers appear to be giving Kiner-Falefa a routine rest day. Yonny Hernandez is covering shortstop and Brock Holt is on the hot corner. Nick Solak is starting on second base and batting fifth while Andy Ibanez serves as the Rangers' designated hitter and bats second.
