Earlier this month, the glitz and glamour of the Met Gala returned after two very long years. As always, the stars turned out in full force, from Billie Eilish's stunning Marilyn Monroe-inspired gown, to Kim Kardashian's all-black ensemble. But one Kardashian-Jenner who was noticeably missing from the event was Khloe. Given that she's never joined her sisters, Kim, Kendall and Kylie on the steps of the Met, fans once again started speculating whether she's actually banned from fashion's most famous event.

But this week Khloe decided to set the record straight in a Q&A with fans on Twitter. "Khloe now that you are online please tell if the Met Gala rumours are true," asked a follower, to which the 37-year-old replied "Absolutely NOT true."

Despite not being invited to the event herself, that hasn't stopped Khloe hyping up her sisters who have attended. Just before 2019's Met Gala (the last one before the pandemic hit), Khloe tweeted: "I seriously can not get over how incredible my sisters look tonight!!!! I'm dreaming of them."

The theme was Camp: Notes in Fashion, and in true KarJenner style, Kim, Kendall and Kylie stole the show. Kim went for a wet-look Mugler dress dripping in jewels, while Kendall and Kylie twinned in matching lilac and orange feathered ensembles.

Next year's Met Gala is set to return on the first Monday in May, and although the theme hasn't yet been announced, we're keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed that Khloe finally gets a well-deserved invite.
