'Come From Away' will take the Kravis stage between Nov. 16 and 21. Tickets for the performance go on sale Saturday.

It's the time of year when tickets go on sale for local performances.

More than 125 shows and events with more than 250 individual performances are on tap for 2021-22 season at the Kravis Center, with public ticket sales starting at 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets available will include two shows in the Kravis On Broadway series — "Come From Away" and "Summer: The Donna Summer Special."

Ticket prices vary. To get tickets and see the season’s entire line-up visit the Kravis Center’s official website at kravis.org or view the season brochure at kravis.org/brochure, or call the Kravis box office at 561-832-7469.

Also, single tickets to Miami City Ballet’s 36th season of dance go on sale Thursday for performances at all three of its home theaters (the Kravis Center, Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center and Fort Lauderdale’s Broward Center).

Tickets start at $30. Subscriptions to the season, which start at $84, went on sale over the summer.

The 2021-22 Season in Motion marks the return of live performances following the interruption forced by the coronavirus pandemic.

The performances tell “stories – stories of childhood dreams and fantasy, of transcendent love, hope and courage, of distant places and times and of complete human forgiveness," Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez said in a release.

Before audiences return to the theater, MCB will open its season on Oct. 14 with the online premiere of "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" by George Balanchine. Tickets to this digital performance are $20 and are available at miamicityballet.org/midsummer

Subscriptions and tickets may be purchased through the Miami City Ballet Box Office. Call the box office at 305-929-7010 or toll free 877-929-7010.
