Gov. Kate Brown spoke to reporters at 11 a.m. Tuesday to discuss Oregon’s ongoing response to COVID-19.

Oregon’s summer case surge has slowed but the aftermath continues into the fall. September is now the third-deadliest month of the pandemic, and average daily cases remain above the peak from 2020. The state has recorded four straight weeks of case declines but the most recent tally fell just 2%.
