Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Hawn

Hawn is an older girl, but still has lots of spunk and energy. Make an appointment to meet her at Animal Friends.

Hawn

Breed:  Whippet/Terrier, Pit Bul | Sex: Female
Age: 13.6 years | Weight: 35 pounds
Arrived: Aug. 13, 2021

This beautiful senior gal came to Animal Friends after her owner passed away. Hawn is an older girl, but still has lots of spunk and energy. She is looking for the perfect family to spend her golden years with. Hawn has Chronic Kidney Disease and requires a prescription diet in her forever home. Hawn can live in a home with children 13 and older and she may be able to live with another dog, pending a meet and greet at the shelter.

Each of our dogs has received a thorough medical examination, is current on all appropriate vaccinations (including rabies) and has been microchipped and spayed or neutered.

Animal Friends is open for adoption by appointment only, please email our Adoption team at AdoptionInfo@ThinkingOutsideTheCage.org to set up a time to visit.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our dogs in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
