STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The sixth annual Restaurant Crawl will feature over 30 eateries on New Dorp Lane next week, a strip that is home to some of the borough’s most diverse dishes.

On Monday, Oct. 11, the New Dorp Lane Business Improvement District will host the family-friendly event from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance or $20 at the door. Admission affords tastes from participating neighborhood restaurants. Tickets can be ordered via www.facebook.com/explorenewdorp.

Highlighted businesses include Ho’Brah, Sobol Acai Bowls and More, The Cookie Jar, Little Italy Gourmet, Something Sweet Homemade, Brioso Ristorante and more. The sampling event offers live music provided by Sound of Fury, kids rides, photo booths, and free performances that includes Steve The Magician. Demonstrations will be made by Dance Express, Dream Dance Company.

“After over a year of uncertainty within restaurants and small businesses, the restaurants and business community are looking forward to celebrating and showcasing their signature dishes and new menu items.” says Niles French, vice president of the SIEDC.

Additionally, New Dorp Lane will salute its 350th birthday. Gifts, business discussions and videos will be a part of the afternoon to fete the monumental year.

Sponsors include Councilman Steven Matteo, the Staten Island Economic Development Corp. (SIEDC) and Empire State Bank.
