Capcom has detailed what’s coming in the next free update for RPG Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, coming later this week.

Title Update 4 will be available from Thursday, September 30. It’ll include a new Monstie in the form of the Molten Tigrex. Alongside it will be the game’s next Co-Op exclusive Monster Quest challenging hunters with a High Difficulty Kulve Taroth. Four new quests will also be added, three of them Co-Op and one Delivery.

The second part of the Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin update will then land on October 7, with the Dreadking Rathalos Monstie. Seven more quests will be added, with four nine-star Co-Op quests, two subquests and a special delivery quest to boot.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin launched back in July. In our review, Josh said the game “may not make a hardened hunter of you, but nor does it want to. It would rather bring you along for its own wondrous ride”. You can check out the trailer for Title Update 4 below, or check out the full patch notes over here.

Elsewhere, Capcom has also announced it’ll be holding a Monster Hunter Spotlight as part of its Tokyo Game Show 2021 Online presentation this Thursday at 2pm UK time. We can expect more news on the freshly announced Monster Hunter Rise expansion, Sunbreak.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is out now on the Nintendo Switch and PC.
