Kilpatrick and Tate Win Bulldog of the Week

WEATHERFORD, Okla. - Jalil Kilpatrick of SWOSU Football and Hadley Tate of SWOSU Rodeo have been named this week's Bulldogs of the Week. 

The award is brought to you by Wright Wradio, the home of the Bulldogs over the airwaves on both 95.5 'The Coyote' and 100.3 'Coyote Classic.'

A Senior quarterback from Detroit, Mich., Kilpatrick was called upon to step up for his team when starting quarterback Tanner Griffin was unavailable with an injury. Kilpatrick answered the call in a big way. He accounted for all of SWOSU's touchdowns on Saturday and finished with 229 passing yards and three touchdowns while also gaining 46 yards on the ground with a 25 yard touchdown rush.

Tate, a Sophomore from Apache, Okla., won the Women's All-Around award at the Colby County Community College Rodeo in Colby, Kan. last weekend. She took fifth place in average in Breakaway and sixth in average in Barre Racing to take the title and help her team to a fourth place finish on 170.00 points. She will be back in competition this weekend in Durant at the Southeastern Oklahoma State Rodeo.
