Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Wants To Cut Business Ties, All Connection With Alex Rodriguez

Almost half a year after Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez called off their engagement, rumors have it they called it quits after arguing over their finances. The two are not only a couple back then; they are also business partners, which may have caused these assumptions.

Us Weekly claimed Lopez wanted to cut her business ties with Rodriguez so that she could finally be freed from her ex-boyfriend. Ben Affleck's girlfriend is, reportedly, "beyond done" with her former fiancé and is ready to fully move on with her new love.

However, she can hardly do this, knowing A-Rod can appear on her side any minute. An alleged source claimed this made J.Lo tired of his mind games.

In fact, she found his appearance in the South of France in his yacht right next to hers as a "step too far." Now that their romance is over, she wants nothing but for him to move on.

But, as she is still financially linked to Rodriguez through their shared business, Lopez seems to have no choice. Allegedly, the former baseball shortstop prefers to discuss their business with her one on one.

Another insider chimed in and said the 52-year-old singer knew she could sell her share in the company or buy him out instead. She does not care how things will turn out, as she just wants to be free of any ties from him. So, is there any truth about this?

As one of the wealthiest, self-made women, there is no way she will let her feelings toward Rodriguez overshadow her judgment, especially when the talks are about her businesses.

In fact, in their joint breakup statement, they swore to continue to work together. They also vowed to support each other on their "shared businesses and projects."

Meanwhile, Rodriguez is also moving on from his breakup with Lopez in April. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he said he had now focused on "all the positives" in life after they called off their engagement following five years of romance.

Despite that, though, he knew things could happen and he was grateful for what occurred in the past. Five years were no joke for him, but it gave him "incredible life and partnership" and had learned so much with his daughters.

The former New York Yankees player added they were ready to move forward and make the next five years of their lives better. In spite of his breakup with Lopez, Rodriguez said he is now in "a great place" and excited to see what life has in store for him and his kids.
