Brock Davies responds to Lala Kent’s claim he hasn’t spoken to his kids in years

Scheana Shay’s fiancé, Brock Davies is playing it coy when it comes to claims he hasn’t seen his older kids in years.

The reality star and personal trainer skirted around the issue when asked by Page Six about how he felt toward Shay’s “Vanderpump Rules” castmate, Lala Kent, who claimed on a recent episode that it’s been four years since he’s seen his older children from a previous marriage —son Eli and daughter Winter.

“Those are my kids and their life was private and they didn’t decide to date Scheana. I did,” Davies said during a Zoom interview, adding of Kent’s comments, “It’s been said and it’s out there and I knew it was coming, so I just got to embrace that one.”

Davies, 30, said he will be upfront about his past mistakes in the coming season of the Bravo show.

“I told my troops through the season I had to step up to the plate, know I have a past, and if I could change it, I would,” he said. “But at the same time, we’re here and I got to make sure I do the right things going forward and you guys will see all that unfold.”

He added that Kent’s comments were about his past and that people shouldn’t jump to conclusions about him as a person and as a father now.

Davies expressed how Kent’s comments were taken out of context and that she is judging him off his actions from when he was much younger and in a “different place” in life.

“They’re going to come for me,” he said. “They’re going to come for the jugular. And I’m OK for that because I understand my faults, what I’ve done in my past, and going forward I’ve done the right thing.”

He also explained that he was happy he could share his side of the story in the upcoming season.

“For me to tell my story, I did it this season very, very loudly. I had my opinions. I said it out there. So I kind of understand what was coming at me,” he said. “But to see it in the trailer, I was like, oh, here we go.”

And his fiancée chimed in, telling Page Six that her words came before people “knew the full context of the situation.”

Davies agreed, saying, “Definitely, obviously not my proudest moments, but it’s a part of my life and you guys will get to meet me more this season.

He added, “You’ve only got one chance, and if you lie, when you tell the truth, then people aren’t going to believe you so you just got to turn around and own it 100 percent.”

Davies and Shay welcomed their first daughter together, named Summer Moon, in April. They confirmed they were engaged in July.

They told Page Six they plan on marrying around next year in Bali.
