UND is 7th, 8th in national men’s hockey polls

UND is seventh in the USA Today pre-season men’s hockey poll.

Meanwhile, in the US College Hockey Online poll, the Fighting Hawks got two first-place votes and are ranked eighth.

Defending national champion Massachusetts is number-one in both polls.

Minnesota is fourth in both polls.

UND opens the season on Saturday with a home exhibition game against Bemidji State, which is 14th in the US College Hockey online poll…and 15th in the USA Today poll.
