A retired Plum police officer is facing charges after he was accused of pointing a gun at a man in New Kensington.
According to arrest records, Dennis Daugherty got into a fight with a man on Nichols Drive.
Police said Daugherty tried to knee the man, who then pushed Daugherty to the ground.
As he got up, Daugherty allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at the man before firing two shots into the ground.
