The Italian American Club had its liquor license restored by the state after the Warren Town Council voted to revoke it earlier this month.

However, there are a couple of conditions in the decision by the state Department of Business Regulation: alcohol can only be sold between noon and 8 p.m. and the club must follow a security plan submitted to the town.
The Italian American Club's liquor license was pulled by the town on Sept. 14 after Brian Remy, an assistant fire chief, was shot and killed at the Kelly Street club by Michael Ouellette.

Without the license, a lawyer for the club said it would probably have to shut down.
