COLUMBUS — The Ohio State Buckeyes will wear all-scarlet uniforms when they host the Penn State Nittany Lions next month at Ohio Stadium.
The ‘color rush’ uniform will include all-scarlet, except for the traditional silver helmet Buckeyes fans have become familiar with.

In addition to the all-scarlet uniform, the team is also encouraging fans to “scarlet the stadium” by layering up in scarlet jerseys, sweatshirts and other clothing.
“All-scarlet means a color rush of all-scarlet. Jersey, pants, socks, base layers, gloves and spikes will be scarlet with the traditional striping pattern on the shoulders and down the side of the legs,” the team said in an announcement Monday.
A start time for the Oct. 30 matchup has not yet been announced.
