AEW Rampage Grand Slam Viewership On 9/24/21 Sees Strong First Hour, Big Drop In Hour Two

The numbers are in for AEW Rampage Grand Slam.

According to ShowBuzzDaily, AEW Rampage averaged 640,000 viewers for the two-hour special on Friday, September 24. This number is down from the previous episode, which scored 642,000 viewers. The first hour of AEW Rampage scored 727,000 viewers, but the second hour (11pm ET to midnight) hurt the overall number as only 552,000 viewers watched.

The first hour finished first among cable originals, pulling a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The second hour dropped to a 0.25 rating for an average rating of 0.29, which is slightly up from the 0.28 demo rating the show pulled the previous Friday. The second hour finished fourth on cable. The average rating would have placed the show at number one on cable.
