Keeper, as suspected, suffered a broken leg in training camp and will be out indefinitely, Ben Kuzma of The Vancouver Province reports.
Keeper was far from a lock to make the Opening Night roster, but a strong showing in training camp could have forced the issue. Instead, the 25-year-old blueliner may have to wait until next season to get a shot at an NHL game and figures to spend the early part of the year on long-term injured reserve.
