The jury's still out on whether Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon's launch party for their podcast, Reasonably Shady, was at all reasonable — but it was definitely shady. You needn't look any further for proof of that than Candiace Dillard Bassett and Mia Thornton's exchange at the fête in the September 26 episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.

Candiace confronted Mia about her actions at her music video shoot in which she spoke to Candiace's mom about husband Chris Bassett's role as her manager. After Mia criticized the shoot, Candiace shot back with a comment about Mia's mom.

Prior to this episode airing, Mia took to Instagram to show her mom some love. "The Plan is to show you that I understand, You are Appreciated," Mia quoted the song "Dear Mama" by 2Pac in the post, which featured a throwback photo of her mother, Veronica.

Mia followed up her tribute to her mom with another Instagram post that seemed to comment on her interactions with Candiace at the Reasonably Shady party. "Don’t f--k with the family," Mia wrote.

Mia stood by her comments about the music video shoot in The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show, where Candiace also reflected on their drama, sharing that she felt like Mia had been making digs at all of the ladies this season "one by one." "And now it's my turn," Candiace said in the above clip, adding, "You want to come for me when I have gone out of my way to make you feel comfortable in this group."

She also addressed her reaction to Mia's comment about her music video shoot. "There were so many things that I wanted to say. Like, they're all just bubbling at the tip of my tongue right this moment. But because I was trying to be a better person and try not to just dig so deep the way I know that I can, I just said, 'You know, what? I'll just go with something real light and get off it,'" Candiace explained. "It was a quick quip that, really, I thought was saving her from pain and anguish."
