Nationwide Boulevard is flooded with fans sporting their CBJ red, white and union blue, which means it's officially hockey season.
Jackets' faithful packed the OhioHealth Ice Haus on Saturday morning to get a glimpse of what's to come this season. Doors opened for fans just after 9 a.m. on Saturday to watch some live hockey action, with the rink filled by members of the 5th Line throughout the morning and early afternoon.
Fans were excited to kick off the season at training camp, presented by OhioHealth. Some fans stopped by after The Cannon Blast 5K held that same morning, while others came to continue their annual tradition.

"I always come to training camp," said Jessica Peters of DeGraff, Ohio. "The last five or six years we've come."

The Ice Haus hosted an open practice followed by intrasquad scrimmages that showcased the possibilities this season may hold.
"I'm looking forward to seeing how the players will handle adversity this season and to see where we can end up," said Josh Goldman of Gahanna, Ohio.

"I'm interested to see how the new guys will do with the veterans and how the veterans step up with all the changes that were made over the summer," Peters said.
