As the release of Halloween Kills approaches, Jamie Lee Curtis has taken to Instagram to share a new image of the film featuring Anthony Michael Hall as a grown up Tommy Doyle. The photo came with the following caption:

“Mob rules. Michael C. Hall is so FIERCE as older Tommy Wallace. It isn't just Laurie Strode who was traumatized ON Halloween in 1978”

Tommy Doyle is the little boy that Jamie Lee Curtis’ character Laurie was babysitting in the original movie. Like Laurie, Tommy also had to deal with the trauma from that nightmarish night in 1978. It sounds like Hall is going to give a captivating performance.

I do have to point out though, that Curtis made a couple of mistakes in her post. First she got Anthony Michael Hall‘s name mixed up with Michal C. Hall and Tommy Doyle’s mixed up with Tommy Wallace, the director of Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Or, maybe she got it mixed up with the other character in the movie, Lindsay Wallace. Regardless, we get the message that she is trying to get across.

In the film, “minutes after Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.

“But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.

“The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. Evil dies tonight.”

The movie was directed by David Gordon Green, and it also stars also stars Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Thomas Mann (Kong: Skull Island), and Michael Myers actors Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney, who will also come back to their shared role. The film also includes Kyle Richards returning as Lindsey Wallace, and Nancy Stephens who will reprise her role as Nurse Marion.

The movie will be released in theaters and on the Peacock streaming service on October 15th.
