The ManningCast on "Monday Night Football" will be hosting a prominent guest tonight.
Alabama coach Nick Saban will be appearing on the broadcast alongside Peyton and Eli Manning during ESPN2's airing of the Cowboys vs. Eagles on Monday, according to AL.com. The report stated he is expected to be on the call for about the length of a quarter.

Saban will certainly have some vested interest watching the game between Philadelphia and Dallas. Five of his former players at Alabama will be out on the field with Amari Cooper and Trevon Diggs playing for the Cowboys, and Landon Dickerson, DeVonta Smith and Jalen Hurts playing for the Eagles.
Hurts won a national championship with Saban and the Crimson Tide in 2017 before he transferred for his final college season to Oklahoma.
And Saban has also had his share of experience coaching against the Manning brothers. While he was the coach at LSU, Saban faced Eli Manning and Ole Miss three times. The Tigers lost the first matchup to the Rebels 35-24 in 2001, but won the next two games, 14-13 in 2002 and 17-14 in 2003.

Saban faced Peyton Manning only once in his coaching career. In 2006, as head coach of the Dolphins, Saban squared off against Manning and the Colts on Dec. 31, and lost 27-22. It was his final game in the NFL before he became the head coach at Alabama.
Saban will be the latest high profile guest to appear on the ManningCast. Charles Barkley, Brett Favre, Rob Gronkowski, Pat McAfee, Patrick Willis and Russell Wilson have all appeared on the MegaCast for ESPN.
It's also not the only time Saban and one of the Mannings have shared the screen. Saban joined Eli Manning for an episode of Eli's Places, where Saban pulled Manning on a tube from a boat.

While on the ManningCast, expect to hear Saban talk about a number of topics with the two brothers, but don't expect him to speak about their nephew. Arch Manning, the No. 2 national recruit in the 2023 class and son of Cooper Manning, has been pursued by a number of top programs, and he's lined up for a visit with the Tide on Saturday when they play against Eli's alma mater, Ole Miss, on Saturday. Since discussing a recruit on national television would be an NCAA violation, Saban is likely to stay pretty mum on the topic of the latest star Manning QB.
