Park Omaha has unveiled new electric car charging stations in different parking locations in downtown Omaha, according to the company's website.
The cost for charging is $1 for any time up to four hours, and $2 for each additional hour over four hours, said the website.
There is a maximum of $20 per session, said the website.
To pay for the service, customers must use the ChargePoint app which accepts payment forms of Paypal, Apple Pay, credit or debit cards, ETC., said the website.
Locations of the charging stations include:
- Park 1- 1516 Douglas St.
- Park 3- 828 Farnam St. (Installation is still in progress)
- Park 4- 1011 Jackson St.
- Park 6- 321 N 17th St.
- Park 7- 100 N 15th St.
- Park 8- 1215 Capitol Ave.
Park 1,3, and 4 will have "two dual-port chargers" and Park 6, 7, and 8 will have one, said the website.
Park Omaha is in talks about adding more locations for electric car charging stations, said the website.
