Benefit to be held on Oct. 10 for West Allis Navy veteran killed in motorcycle crash

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The community has come together to organize a benefit for a local veteran killed in a motorcycle crash on Sept. 6. 

Thirty-two-year-old John Holman was killed after a driver ran a traffic light near S 84th and West Lincoln Avenue in West Allis, not far from his home.

The "John Holman Memorial Benefit" is being held with the help of Alderman Tracy Stefanski, Alderwoman Suzzette Grisham and Wisconsin Truck Takeover Enthusiasts. It will take place on Sunday, Oct. 10 between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. at The Shooters Shop.

Local food trucks will be there as well as beer from Westallion Brewery.  A raffle will also be held. Here is a link to full event information.
