Grading Oklahoma: This state has the second-highest divorce rate in the nation

Grading Oklahoma is a weekly look at how we stack up on a national scale. Each week, The Oklahoman features a different subject area to illustrate and examine on a closer level. 

This week we take a look at marriage in Oklahoma. The state ranks 18th in the nation for the rate of marriages, but second overall in the divorce rate. Both marriages and divorces have slowed across the country in the past decade.
