The Jonas Brothers delivered a concert to remember at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview on Sunday night.
Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas performed at the St. Joe’s Amp in Syracuse, N.Y., as part of the brotherly trio’s “Remember This” tour. Kelsea Ballerini and Jordan McGraw opened the show.
According to setlist.fm, set list highlights included Jonas Brothers classics like “Paranoid,” “Lovebug,” “Year 3000,” and “Burnin’ Up,” as well as newer songs like “Sucker,” “What a Man Gotta Do,” and “Remember This.” Thousands of fans in attendance also got to hear Nick Jonas’ solo hit “Jealous” and a performance of DNCE’s “Cake By the Ocean.”
The Jonas Brothers also had some fun with popcorn on stage, including a moment where Joe threw popcorn into Kevin’s mouth. The Grammy-nominated band sold Rob’s Popcorn, “born backstage,” exclusively on the tour.
The concert was the second at the St. Joe’s Amp to require Covid health checks after the Foo Fighters did the same last week; both were at the artists’ request. Fans had to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test to enter the show.
The Jonas Brothers first rose to fame on the Disney Channel, appearing in the 2008 movie “Camp Rock” and its sequel “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” plus the series “Jonas” (also known as “Jonas L.A.”). They reunited in 2019 after a six year break that saw Joe Jonas performing with DNCE, Kevin Jonas starring on a reality show with his wife, and Nick Jonas acting in movies like “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.”
