Ithaca gas prices unchanged at $3.28

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The average price of gas for Ithaca drivers this morning is unchanged from last week – three dollars 28 cents.

It matches the statewide average, which also hasn’t changed. New information from the Energy Information Administration shows an increase in the domestic gasoline stock and lowering demand. Triple A says that’s likely because of the post-summer drop-off in driving.

About 16 percent of oil production is still offline after recent storms, and a barrel of oil remains above 70 dollars.
