Supermodel Karolina Kurkova’s Transformed Tribeca Loft Asks $4.7M

The word “model” has many uses in real estate and design, from model homes to remodels. But, what might one call it when a fashion model executes an apartment remodel? Model2, perhaps? This NYC condo is exactly that. Czech-American supermodel Karolina Kurkova’s Tribeca loft has hit the market, transformed by the seller in collaboration with architect Robin Osler, who also happens to be a former model. For the revamp, Interior Marketing Group was also tapped to create the interior design. Now, the apartment—definitively stylish in design, location, and history—wants $4.7 million.

The bright abode sits on the 9th floor of the River Lofts tower, blissfully along the Hudson. Entry to the loft requires walking through a polished gallery space, perfect for displaying artwork. A smooth, dark wood wall and thick white columns provide contrast and a bounty of space for canvases and sculpture. From the open living and dining room, water views are visible at all times. Offering a change of perspective, the bedrooms face the east, focusing their frames on Manhattan itself.

Kurkova reconfigured the layout from a three-bedroom into a two-bedroom, making the most of the 2,063 square feet. It now boasts custom closets, custom millwork and built-ins, plus has a unique combined dressing room/home office. Known for being a former Victoria’s Secret angel, gracing covers of Vogue, and being an entrepreneur, Kurkova could have planned both outfits and business deals here.

Embracing the loft lifestyle, the home feels open and airy throughout. Ruthie and Ethan Assouline of Compass hold the fashion-forward listing.
