CHICAGO -- Green Bay and UIC played to a 2-2 tie Sunday (Sept. 26) on the road at Flames Field, ending its second-straight draw and third in the last four matches.
Green Bay moved to 3-1-4 overall and 0-1-3 in Horizon play with the draw, picking up its third point in League play.
How it Happened
Green Bay started the scoring when Mckayla Kertscher notched her fifth goal of the season in the 39th minute, assisted by Madeline Cruz.
The Phoenix took a 2-0 lead on an own goal in the 60th minute after the corner kick was deflected by UIC into the net.
UIC narrowed the gap to 2-1 on Quinn Ruiz's 76th-minute goal.
The Flames knotted it up at 2-2 with a 78th-minute goal from Megan Bowman. Neither team scored again in the match.
