Event Preview
Returning to the course after claiming a member of the All-Tournament Team and two top-20 finishers at the season-opening Golfweek Fall Challenge, USC Upstate women's golf makes a return to the Sea Best Jacksonville Classic, competing in the event for the ninth time in the event's history and for the first time since 2018-19.
 
Redshirt sophomore Praew Nontarux paced the Spartans at the Golfweek Fall Challenge earning her fifth-career top-five placement, finishing fourth on the final leaderboard while redshirt junior Beem Pabsimma claimed a top-20 finish, tying for 17^th.
 
In addition to their top-20 finishes, Nontarux and Pabsimma became the first Spartans in the program's Division I era to each card a sub-70 score in a single round as each marked down a 68 (-3) in the Golfweek Fall Challenge's second round.
 
Upstate's season-opening event also featured  numerous leaps up the Golfweek Fall Challenge leaderboard with Pabsimma making the biggest leap of the event, jumping 41 spots from the first to second rounds. Sophomore Suwarin Yord-in and Nontarux also made sizeable moves on the leaderboard following the second round, moving 17 and 10 spots, respectively.
 
Play at the Sea Best Jacksonville Classic begins Monday with 36 holes across two rounds, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. ET shotgun start before wrapping Tuesday with the final 18 holes, also featuring an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

Following the Sea Best Jacksonville Classic, Upstate takes a three-week hiatus from competition before returning at the Buccaneer Invitational at Kiawah Island – Oak Point in Kiawah Island, S.C. on October 17-18.
