Many people expected a close game between Notre Dame football and Wisconsin on Saturday at Soldier Field in Chicago — a battle between two top-20 teams with a lot of history and tradition on both sides.

The game was close for a little over 45 minutes of game action. Wisconsin wishes the game probably was only 45 or so minutes as they would have come away with a 13-10 win.

The Irish on the other hand are glad that there are 60 minutes of game action as they scored 31 unanswered points to turn a close matchup into a total blowout in the last 13 minutes of the game with a 41-13 victory.

With the win over the Badgers, the Irish now are 4-0 on the season and have moved back up into the top 10. Brian Kelly earned his 106th victory as head coach of the Irish and now is the all-time leader in wins at Notre Dame as the head coach, passing Knute Rockne.

Here are the players who deserve a game ball after their thrilling victory over Wisconsin.
