BALTIMORE (WBFF) —
Amtrak confirms one person was struck by a train in Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon.

At about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, Amtrak Northeast Regional Train 126, traveling from Washington, D.C. to New York, came into contact with an individual on the tracks near Aberdeen, MD.
There have been no reported injuries from the 367 passengers on board or the crew.
Amtrak is working with local officials and cooperating with the investigation.
This is a critical reminder about the importance of exercising caution around railroad tracks and crossings.
