MEQUON, Wis. - The University of the South field hockey team were swept in a two-game weekend series by Concordia University Wisconsin, dropping the Sunday finale, 2-0, from Tomasini Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee had two opportunities to strike in the first quarter, but they were both stopped by the CUW goalie, Emily Binley.
-In the second quarter, Megan McPike gave the hosts the 1-0 lead with her 22nd minute goal.
-With the Falcons defense holding the Tigers to seven shots, their offense added a late goal in the 57th minute by Paige Armijo.
