CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – With the suspect still at large, the West Virginia Fusion Center is spreading the word after the fatal shooting of a Florida deputy sheriff.
Patrick McDowell, 35, allegedly shot Nassau County Deputy Josh Moyers during a Friday traffic stop.
The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday afternoon that Moyers, 29, has died from his injuries.
As Florida authorities believe McDowell may be seeking medical attention outside of their state, the W.Va. Fusion Center is helping to distribute the attached Be On the Lookout (BOLO) advisory.
