KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The 21st-ranked Tennessee volleyball team completed the series sweep of Arkansas Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena with a 3-0 straight-set victory (25-19, 25-19, 25-17).

Tennessee (10-2, 2-0 SEC) earned its eighth sweep of the season as it brushed aside Arkansas (10-4, 1-2 SEC). For the second match in a row, UT got the block working as it totaled 12 team blocks and held the Razorbacks to a .081 hit percentage.

Danielle Mahaffey tallied six blocks in Sunday's match, adding to her 12 block total from Saturday. For the weekend, Mahaffey recorded 18 blocks – four solo and 14 assisted. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native tacked on eight kills Sunday and hit a team-high .667.

Her partner in the middle, Ava Bell, also had a strong day for the Lady Vols as she racked up seven kills and five blocks.

Lily Felts and Breana Runnels led the Big Orange in kills, totaling nine apiece in the three-set victory. The attacking duo also had three blocks each, while Felts recorded 12 digs and Runnels picked up six.

Morgahn Fingall tallied eight kills and four blocks Sunday versus the Hogs.

Natalie Hayward dished out 30 assists in the win and picked up her sixth double-double of the season as she finished the match with 15 digs. The Bothell, Washington, native has now earned double-doubles in three consecutive matches.

On the backline, Madison Bryant closed out with a team-high 16 digs and a service ace.

UT jumped out to an early lead in the opening set before the Razorbacks chipped away and evened things up at 10-10. The Lady Vols pulled ahead thanks to a 5-1 scoring run and kept Arkansas at bay for the remainder of the set, winning 25-19.

Mahaffey picked up three of her six blocks in the first set, while five of Fingall's kills came in the first.

The teams followed the same script in the second as Tennessee again got out to an early advantage only to see Arkansas even the score at 10-10. With the set tied at 12-12, UT used another 5-1 scoring run to pull in front and push on to the 25-19 second set victory.

Bell, Runnels and Mahaffey all had three kills in the set, with Mahaffey posting two more blocks.

Tennessee controlled the third set throughout as it used six team blocks to frustrate the Hogs on its way to a 25-17 match-clinching-third-set victory.
