Tana Toly and Nann Worel host a Meet The Candidates and welcome Jeremy Rubell

PARK CITY, Utah — This morning, at Red Banjo Pizza on Main St., the business owned and operated by City Council candidate Tana Toly’s family since 1962, she hosted a Meet The Candidates gathering welcoming community members to get to know her and mayoral candidate Nann Worel. On one of the final pedestrian-only Sundays of the season, they teamed up to make it convenient for families to get to know more than one candidate at a time. 

Toly said to TownLift.com, “Nann and I like working together to bring us into a new era here in Park City. We’ll bring our roots and our future into cohesion connecting us all once again to our county and to our region and solve some of our biggest issues such as transportation, and land use.”

Dozens of families stopped by to take advantage of the personal nature of the candidates making themselves readily available.

Worel said to TownLift.com, “I love these opportunities to connect with Parkites, to listen to them, hear what they’re excited about as well as learn from them what might be worrying them about our beautiful town, and how we can work together to resolve those issues. I’m running to restore an atmosphere of inclusion, transparency, and collaboration.”

Collaborating in a small-town community supportive spirit was City Council candidate Jeremy Rubell who showed up at the event this morning merely to show his support for the political process. 

Ballots will be mailed out mid-October and election day is November 2.
