Newcastle Star Allan Saint-Maximin Trolls Steve Bruce After Seeing FIFA 22 Video Of Him Showing Off '99 Pace'

Newcastle Star Allan Saint-Maximin Trolls Steve Bruce After Seeing FIFA 22 Video Of Him Showing Off '99 Pace'

Allan Saint-Maximin saw the viral video of Steve Bruce on FIFA 22 and couldn't resist a comment.

Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin has asked EA Sports for clarification as to why his pace is only 91 on this year's FIFA when Steve Bruce appears to be the fastest person on the game.

The Frenchman, like all of us, stumbled across a viral video this week that showed his manager Bruce on FIFA 22.

In the clip, Newcastle won a penalty shoot-out when Miguel Almiron slotted in the decisive spot-kick.

Players on the pitch and from the bench came sprinting over but the utter hilarity arrived through Bruce, who was somehow faster than everyone and darted like a man with 99 pace.

The video has been watched millions of times, with fans almost definitely playing it more than once.

It's caught Saint-Maximim's eye and the Newcastle No.10 wants answers.

He tweeted: "Can you explain me @EASPORTSFIFA why did you give me 91 pace and 99 pace to Steve Bruce ?"

It's only right for Saint-Maximin and Bruce to have a race to settle things once and for all.

The 24-year-old is one of the most skilful and exciting players in the Premier League on his day but won't be best pleased with his downgrade on FIFA.

Saint-Maximin has gone from 80 to 79, while has pace has also dropped by two to 91 - a change he clearly isn't best pleased about.

Only his dribbling, 87, and defending, 25, have stayed the same from FIFA 21.

He's great value on Twitter and on the pitch - and Bruce recently showered him with praise in a press conference ahead of the 1-1 draw with Watford.

"When he walked through the door, I said he was going to get all of you off your seat, that he would be a firm favourite," Bruce said, as per Chronicle Live.

"He's playing as well as anybody can in the Premier League at the moment and when he's playing like this, then, he is a joy to watch.

"He's something different. His pace and power and his balance...and he does things which nobody else can do in the Premier League. It's all natural to him.

"I've always had a good relationship with him. He's a great lad and the one thing about him that I enjoy is he enjoys football more than most.
