A 17-year-old boy was shot Sunday afternoon in Washington Heights on the South Side.

The teen was wounded about 12:35 p.m. in the 9400 block of South Vincennes Street, Chicago police said.

He was shot in the arm and was taken Little Company of Mary Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
