Body found at Diamond District hotel days after man jumps from building: source

The body of a 34-year-old man was found on a second-floor landing at a Midtown hotel Sunday — and he may have jumped up to two days earlier, according to a police source.

The man leapt from the 25th-floor balcony of the Gotham Hotel on East 46th Street in the Diamond District, with his remains found at around 8 a.m. Sunday, cops said.

“He may have jumped a day or two ago,” a police source said, noting that the area where the man landed on the second floor isn’t accessible to the public.

The man’s identity wasn’t immediately released.
